"He needs cannabis," a NFL source says about Bills offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, who suffers from Crohn's disease. "You can't take painkillers with the way his intestines are."
Henderson has been suspended for the second time this season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. His latest ban is for 10 game; previously, Henderson was docked four games due to failing a number of drug tests for marijuana.
"There is zero allowance medical exemption for this per the NFL," his agent Brian Fettner says. "However, there should be." They're considering appealing the decision.
Henderson was drafted out of Miami Unversity by Buffalo in 2014. He's only played in one game this season.
