"During the Promotion Term, $2 from any sub or ‘sub as salad’ sold at participating Cheba Hut locations will be donated to the Last Prisoner Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to criminal justice reform and providing support to those affected by unjust cannabis-related convictions."
Last year, the promotion raised $133,872.
“Advocacy and inclusion are part of the fabric of who we are at Cheba Hut,” says franchise owner Isaac Montoya. “We want to continue to create awareness for all those who are facing injustice and be a champion for reform.”
Cheba Hut's menu features strain-named "toasted" subs like Chronic, Kush, Dank, G-13 and Humboldt and assorted other munchies, Many of the shops have full bars as well.
