Description: Described as a "B2B gathering of cannabis leaders [there] to celebrate winners," the first-annual Weedys, held in the heart of West Hollywood, is an outgrowth of WeedWeek's ReCharge event series. Oaksterdam University's Dale Skye Jones will emcee and fellow Bay Area heavyweight Steve DeAngelo will speak about the Last Prisoner Project. Awards will be presented and accepted in 10 categories by other leaders (Ophelia Chong, Amber Senter, Jason Beck), and representatives from numerous California-based cannabis companies. The categories are: Dispensary, Grower, Edible, Delivery Company, Consumption Device, Women-Run/Controlled Company, Person of Color-Run/Owned Company, Socially Responsible Company, Environmentally Responsible Company and People's Choice: WeedWeel Person of the Year.
