Once again, last night Nancy Grace debated marijuana legalization on her HLN show. This time she focused on the case in Colorado where a man, allegedly high on a pot cookie, shot and killed his wife.
NORML board member Norm Kent challenged her: "You take isolated instances of abherant behavior and try to make them standardized for all marijuana users. Have you no conscience? When will you own up to the fact that millions and millions of Americans can light up a joint, and have been since the age of Woodstock, without impairment, driving recklessly and endangering others."
Grace responded, somewhat comically: "I was looking for an answer to the question, but obviously, you're stoned!"
Later in the panel discussion, Dr. Drew Pinsky suggested that pharmaceutical drugs may have played a role in the murder (empty pill bottles were found as evidence). Of course, Grace disagreed.
