New York's all-female brass band Brass Queens have a new album out, Hot Tub Sessions Vol.1. We're excited to premiere "Hot Tub Hotel II" from the album.
Trumpeter Stephanie King tells CelebStoner:
“When we’re on the road, we all have our favorite ways to wind down after a high-energy performance, like sipping on some night wine or taking a dip in the hotel’s hot tub. But there’s nothing better than decompressing with a joint, a pen, or some edibles. It helps us relax, share meaningful time together and get us ready to bring the party the next day!”
Based in Brooklyn, Brass Queens consists of Ashley Baier (drums), Aly Chapel (alto sax), Alex Harris (trumpet), Minerva Johnson (trumpet), Stephanie King (trumpet), Jenna Murdoch (tenor sax), Nora Nalepka (sousaphone) and Stephanie Young (trombone). Young wrote the song.
