SSDP has published a chart that grades colleges with the best and worst drug policies. Forty-eight schools on the list receive an A for "positive policy aspects," such as "clearly defined sanctions for specific violations, sanctions focusing on treatment and education, and medical amnesty or Good Samaritan policies." Among the negative factors are "zero tolerance policies, sanctions focusing on punishment and reliance on referrals to law enforcement.
