Mile High Times may be a great name for a new magazine based in Colorado, but industry giant High Times isn't having it. They've sued the company, saying the title is too close to theirs.
Mile High Times is published by the Denver-based Maryjane Entertainment. The company is also home to Dab City Radio and Dab City Tours. Tommy Chong appears on the cover of the latest issue of the start-up, which launched in November.
"High Times claims Mile High Times is using a name too similar to its own and it's likely to cause confusion," TMZ reports. "High Times readers are probably easily confused, so they have a valid point there."
High Times, based in New York, is owned by Trans High Corp.
