Slate is currently starring in the movie Obvious Child. Since she appeared for one season on Saturday Night Live (2009-2010), Slate's had supporting roles on Bored to Death, Parks and Recreation, The Kroll Show and House of Lies. She's in the cast of Married, which premieres July 17 on FX.
In a HuffPost Live interview, Slate says she "ordered four pizza and ripped into a bong" after learning that SNL had not invited her back for a second season. Slate famously dropped the F-bomb in her debut episode.
