In an interview about Silicon Valley - the actual tech hub south of San Francisco, not his TV show of the same name - Mike Judge tells CNN's Cullen Daly:
'There's always been a weird kind of drug culture to Silicon Valley. Back when I was there, the nerds had to have something they do to show they're not nerds. It was either, 'I race motorcycles,' 'I go to Dead concerts,' 'I do drugs.' It didn't seems to change their personalities much. You know, they do drugs. (Laughs) I guess everybody in the world does drugs now.'
Judge, who's 52, worked at a Silicon Valley firm for several months in 1987. He's best known for his animated series, Beavis and Butt-head and King of the Hill. Judge's critically-acclaimed Silicon Valley show has been renewed by HBO for a second season.
