It's Tommy Chong's 78th birthday. However, yesterday, the stoner comedy legend received a blowoff from the Bernie Sanders campaign. First he was invited to introduce the senator at a Los Angeles area speech, then the invite was surprising rescinded.
Chong was among the first celebrities to endorse Sanders. Watch the video here.
But now he's not so sure about the Democratic presidential candidate.
"It's lip service to get the votes, but they don't want to endorse what I stand for and what I've stood for all my professional career," Chong tells the Hollywood Reporter. "It was an insult."
In addition he tweeted:
