Willie Nelson posed for the above photo in his tour bus holding a large cannabis stogie. Posted at the Willie's Reserve Twitter page, it reads:
"As adults we try to relax from the neverending quest for reason & order by drinking a little whiskey or smoking whatever works for us but the wisdom isn’t in the whiskey or the smoke. The wisdom is in the moments when the madness slips away & we remember the basics."

Nelson, who turns 89 on April 29, is currently off tour during Covid. In 2019, he had to cancel a few shows due to breathing issues. Later that year, Nelson joked, "I'm not smoking any more and I'm not smoking any less."
Though it's unclear if Nelson still imbibes, he does open each and every show with "Whiskey River."
Nelson's piano-playing sister Bobbie turned 90 on January 1.
