Like many celebs, Travis Barker has made the transition from CBD to THC with his new start-up. The Blink-182 drummer is launching Barker Canna Co. just three years after he announced Barker Wellness. While the latter focused on CBD, his new venture includes everyone's favorite cannabinoid.

Barker tells Leafly:

"My journey with cannabis started when I was really young, long before Blink-182. Initially, it was about having a good time, but over the decades my relationship with cannabis has evolved to be much more functional. Today, I use cannabis as a tool for physical recovery, mental well-being, and sparking creativity.”

Barker survived a plane fire in 2008 that left him badly burned and required 16 surgeries. He explains:

"Touring is a lot of fun, but it can take it out of you quickly, both mentally and physically. I rely on my Blue Raspberry Sleep Gummies infused with CBN the most because after a strenuous show, they allow me to relax and unwind, but more importantly, they will enable me to fall asleep so I’m recovered and ready for the next day.”

In a 2021 press release, the rocker noted:

"While a lot of the traditional cannabinoid companies primarily use CBD, it was important that our formulas incorporated some of the lesser-known but highly powerful cannabinoids like CBG, CBN and CBC. The full combination of these cannabinoids, herbs and natural ingredients makes these highly effective for targeting different needs."

The first round of products - preroils called Mini Barkies, live resin vape carts and vegan gummies – will be available at The Syndicate shops (there are nine in SoCal) on Feb. 6. Barkies come in multiple strains, from Blackberry Diesel to Watermelon Kush.

"We’re starting with The Syndicate dispensaries, which I’m a big fan of, but we plan to expand to other legalized states this year," predicts co-founder Ash Patel.

Barker joined Blink-182 in 1998, left in 2005 and rejoined the band in 2009. They've had seven Top 10 albums, including 2023's One More Time, but never scored a major hit single and have just one Grammy nomination.

The heavily tattooed drummer married Kourtney Kardashian in 2022.
