British-based GW Pharmaceuticals' Sativex marijuana spray will soon be available in France. It's used primarily to treat spasms as a result of MS and other neuropathic illnesses.
Unlike synthetic drugs like Marinol, Sativex is made of whole cannabis. Canada, Australia and most of the EU countries have approved its use. It's currently being tested by the FDA.
