Colorado Marijuana Tax Report: 2nd-Quarter 2014

Recreational marijuana sales in Colorado rose to $24.7 million in June. A total of $4.7 million in taxes and license fees were collected, an increase of 8% over May.

Combined with medical marijuana taxes and fees, the June tax take was $6.5 million, an increase of 9% over May.

Since January, tax revenues on rec-pot total $19.9 million. The overall 2014 tax total, combining rec and medical taxes and fees, so far is $30.1 million.
