What's he running for: Florida governor
Why vote for him: A vote for Christ is essentially a vote for Amendment 2, and vice versa. Crist favors it and incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Scott is opposed. Crist is seeking reelection; he lost to Scott in 2011. Amendment 2 needs a 60% margin to win, so Crist supporters should make sure to vote for medical marijuana as well.
