What's he running for: House
Why vote for him: Democrat Blumenauer is up for reelection in Oregon's 3rd District. He and Jared Polis are the leader of the new "cannabis caucus" in the House. Blumenauer is a major supporter of Measure 91, which would tax and regulate marijuana for all uses and is on the statewide ballot. In 2014, he spoke at a rally and business conference in Portland, and challenged the misuse of federal funds by No on 91 supporters. Blumenauer is rated A+ by the DPA.
