Who: Jared Polis
What's he running for: House
Why vote for him: Democrat Polis is up reelection in Colorado's 2nd District. He and Earl Blumenauer are the leaders of the new "cannabis caucus" in the House. Polis lives in Boulder and is also gay. He famously roasted DEA head Michele Leonhart in a Congressional hearing, recently received a Hemp Award and keynoted at the NORML Conference in Denver in 2011. Polis is rated A+ by the DPA.
