9. Seattle Smokes Denver in the Stoner Bowl
It was the Super Bowl for the ages - a contest between two states and cities which in the previous year had legalized marijuana. So when Denver and Seattle kept winning playoffs games that led to this dream matchup, we started calling the contest the Stoner Bowl. Many other names followed, like Ganja Bowl, Weed Bowl and Bowl Bowl, but Stoner Bowl stuck. It turned out to be a big day for the Seahawks, who raced past the Broncos, 43-8.
