5. Marijuana Arrests on the Rise
Despite legalization in four states, marijuana arrests went up by 1% nationally in 2014 to 700,993. However, arrests were down in cities like New York and Philadelphia. Plus, celebrity drug arrests declined nearly 80% from 2014 (43 busts) to 2015 (eight busts). Five of those arrested were NFL players.
