Willie Nelson's long-awaited branded marijuana products, under the name Willie's Reserve, will debut this month and in August in Colorado and Washington legal-weed stores. To hype the roll-out, he's performing concerts in each state. The Willie Nelson & Family shows will take place on:
• July 23 at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA
• July 30 at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, CO (with Kacey Musgraves)
The Reserve product line includes "signature Ready Rolls and high quality flower," according to a press release. The featured strains are Blue Dream, Master Kush, NYC Diesel, Jack the Ripper, White Widow and Grand Daddy Purple. The line also has cannabis oil vape pens.
Nelson states:
'I've smoked enough and I want to give back. Now that legalization is spreading across the country, there's a great opportunity to build a company that can help a lot of people. I hope it gives social justice to those who are incarcerated for doing what we're now doing legally. I'm also committed to have our crops farmed in an environmentally responsible way; to revitalize small farms and to grow it as clean as possible. So far, I've really enjoyed meeting with the best growers.
In Washington, Willie's Reserve will initially be available at the following stores: Fweedom Collective, Herbn Elements and Nimbin Pot Shop (all in Seattle); Buddy's of Renton and The Evergreen Market (both in Renton); Greenside Recreational (Des Moines); and Gypsy Greens (Chehalis).
In Colorado, Willie's Reserve will initially be avaialble at the following stores: Lucy Sky, MiNDFUL and Simply Pure (all in Denver); and the four Terrapin Care Station locations (two in Aurora, two in Boulder).
