From 2012's Weed Wars to this year's Weed Country, Discovery has got reality pot TV locked up. The latest series went six episodes deep into Northern California's Emerald Country, pitting growers against the authorities in the usual standoff. Most interesting was Matt Shotwell, a Bay Area dispensary owner whose store in Vallejo was raided. Facing charges, Shotwell nevertheless traveled north looking for new connections. As the show aired, Shotwell's case was dismissed.
