Almost too smart for of its own good, Season 3 of Wilfred on FX featured more ruminations on the complex relationship between man and dog. Of course, this dog, Wilfred (Jason Gann), talks to this man, Ryan (Elijah Wood), Mr. Ed style. "When you say smoking weed," Wilfred waxed poetic in one episode, "what you mean to say is smoking that dank-ass OG Kush mixed with White Widow!" While Mr Ed ate hay, Wilfred smokes it, which surely is one major difference between television in 1963 and 2013.
