In this prequel series to the classic slasher thriller Psycho, Norma (Vera Farmiga) purchased the Bates Motel, which will be the setting for future horrors. Based in Oregon, the show built in several marijuana angles, including a large outdoor field and trimmers who camp out for a week at the out-of-the-way road stop. Bates Motel returns for Season 2 on A&E in March.
