What: Beginning last September, Season 39 saw a huge cast turnover, with Andy Samberg, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Fred Armison and Jason Sudeikis all bolting for other shows and movie opportunities. Seth Meyers departed as well for his own late-night show on NBC, replaced by Colin Jost on "Weekend Update." Samberg, who picked up a Golden Globe for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, hosts the season finale.
