Gridders Cliff Harris and Claude Davis were arrested for marijuana possession in New Jersey on Apr. 29 and promptly released by the New York Jets the next day.
The traffic stop occurred in Morristown. Police claimed the car was filled with smoke and they smelled marijuana. Harris, Davis and a third person were charged.
Harris, an All-American cornerback, was cut by Oregon in 2011 after he was busted for marijuana possession in Fresno, California.
Both players had signed with the Jets over the winter. Davis, a linebacker, starred at Southern Florida.
A total of 34 NFL players have been arrested for possession of marijuana or other drugs since 2008.
