Von Miller is the third NFL player to be suspended prior to the start of preseason. The star linebacker claims he didn't use either marijuana or MDMA, the drugs he allegedly tested positive for.

In 2011, his rookie season, Miller flunked a drug test for marijuana and amphetamine. A second failed test results in a four-game suspension.

"I know I did nothing wrong," Miller tweeted. "I'm sure this'll be resolved fairly." He's appealing the NFL's ruling.

The two-time All-American was drafted by Denver out of Texas A&M in 2011. He made the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons.

The other suspended players are Giants safety Will Hill and Colts receiver LaVon Brazill.
