Green Bay receiver Geronimo Allison was arrested for marijuana possession in September. The charge was filed in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin in December, but was revealed several days before the Packers met the Cowboys in the NFL playoffs on Jan. 15.
During a traffic stop for speeding on Sept. 4 on Interstate 43 near Francis Creek, police smelled marijuana and found two blunts during a search of Allison's rental car. After the rookie wideout was taken to Manitowoc County Jail, he paid a $100 bond and was released. He's scheduled for a court appearance on Jan. 23.
Allison dressed for the Packers' big showdown with Cowboys and caught three passes for 46 yards in Green Bay's thrilling 34-31 victory. But Allison was a non-factor in the Packers' 44-21 loss to the Falcons in the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 22.
He played sparingly during the regular season, gaining 202 yards on 12 catches, with two TDs.
