News broke June 21 on Twitter that Rob Gronkowski was retiring from the NFL for the second time. Jordan Schultz and the Schultz Report got the scoop:

The future first ballot Hall of Famer won four Super Bowls while earning a spot on the NFL’s 100th Anniversary Team and 2010s All-Decade Team.
An all-time great officially hangs em up at 33 years old.
One of the league's greatest tight ends of all time, the hulking Gronkowski (a.k.a. Gronk) played the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning Super Bowl LV in 2020. It was Gronk's fourth Super Bowl victory (the first three were with the New England Patriots). He first retired in 2019, leaving the Pats. But when Tom Brady signed with the Bucs, Gronk was quick to follow his lead. He explains in this tweet:

Gronk then discusses his decision to leave football, again: "I will now be going back into my retirement home, walking away from football again with my head held high knowing I gave it everything that I had, good or bad, every time I stepped on the field... From retirement, back to football and winning another championship, and now back to chilling out, thank you to all... Cheers to what's next, maybe sailing the seas. Arghhhhhh!!"
He didn't mention his affiliation with Abacus Health Services as the brand ambassadoe for its line of CBDMedic products. It's unclear whether Gronk is still involved with Abacus.
“CBD is part of my recovery,” he said in 2019, referring to standard footbal injuries. “Now, for the first time in more than a decade, I’m pain-free. That’s a big deal.”
It would appear Gronk is keeping his post-NFL options open.
