12. The Night Before
What should have been the year's biggest blowout stoner movie is kind of a bummer. Characters played by Seth Rogen (Isaac), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Ethan) and Anthony Mackey (Chris) get together for a night of Christmas Eve partying. Isaac starts by consuming way too many magic mushrooms, which turn him into a slobbering stoner. The cocaine he adds to the mix doesn't help. Pot dealer Mr. Green (Michael Shannon) comes to his aid, but Isaac is beyond repair at this point. The other story lines are pretty predictable. Watch the trailer here.
