It was another big year for Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill, who co-wrote Sausage Party with Evan Goldberg and directors Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. Supermarket food products come to life in this somewhat perverse animated feature. Frank (a hot dog voiced by Rogen) has the hots for Brenda (a bun voiced by Kristen Wiig). It's all about getting emancipated from packages and what happens in the store aisles. A highlight character, Indian chief Firewater (Bill Hader), likes to "blaze for real 24/7." He invites Frank and Grits (Craig Robinson) to toke out of kazoo pipe. "Is this indica?" Grits asks. "No man, sativa," Firewater replies. "Good shit. Clean high."
