Sadly overlooked, this music industry spoof is spot on. Andy Samberg plays pop singer Connor, who after a huge first album falls on hard times. It's an insider's look of the roller coaster ride that is a career in the music business. When Connor's original group, the Style Boyz, reunites at the end, Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer) takes a hiatus from his new avocation: master cannabis grower in Colorado. Samberg, who often played stoner characters when he was in the cast of Saturday Night Live, is high-larious in the role from start to finish.
