El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie
Fans of the TV series Breaking Bad waited six years for a follow-up and Vince Gilligan delivered with this movie sequel featuring Jessie (Aaron Paul), who survived the final-episode shootout and now wants to collect the money he left behind. It’s a taut thriller set in New Mexico, where Jessie and his teacher Walter (Bryan Cranston) built a meth empire in a few short years. Walt appears in a flashback, but this is Jessie’s movie. He methodically tracks down the cash, but has some competition, which builds to a suspenseful revenge climax. El Camino has been nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Television Movie category.
