A film student falls for a government worker in Joanna Hogg’s drama set in England, but there’s one problem: Anthony (Tom Burke) is secretly hooked on heroin. Despite him stealing from her, Julie (Honor Swinton Burke) supports him as he spirals downward. As junkie movies go, this is particularly depressing. But at least we get to see Swinton act with Tilda, who easily plays her doting mum. Prime, YouTube
