Zack Galifianakis’ Funny or Die web series got the full movie treatment, courtesy of Comedy Bang! Bang!’s Scott Aukerman. Galifianakis plays himself, the struggling TV talk-show host of Between Two Ferns, whose blunt interview style makes guests uneasy, and results in huge Internet numbers. He and his team hit the road from their home base in North Carolina at a public access station to meet with Will Ferrell in Los Angeles and score some interviews along the way. Matthew McConaughey, David Letterman, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd, Keanu Reeves, Chance the Rapper, Bruce Willis, Rashida Jones, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Benedict Cumberbatch, Gal Gadot, Jon Hamm, Hailee Steinfeld, Tiffany Haddish, Peter Dinklage and Awkwafina all play along with his crude gags.
