The latest drug-war doc is Matthew Cooke's How to Make Money Selling Drugs. It's produced by Adrian Grenier (Entourage), and features Woody Harrelson, Susan Sarandon, Eminem, 50 Cent, David Simon and Freeway Ricky Ross.
"My motivation for producing the documentary was to examine the hypocrisy of the War on Drugs," Grenier writes at CNN. "Billions of dollars are wasted targeting, arresting and imprisoning mostly poor people and minority groups, when rates of drug use are about the same across racial lines."
How to Make Money Selling Drugs is currently available On Demand, YouTube, Amazon and iTunes, and opened in selected theaters nationwide on June 26.
